2.5 million for alliance project on sustainability at higher educational institutions
The Center for a Sustainable University (KNU) at Universität Hamburg coordinates the alliance project on developing, networking, and reporting on sustainability at higher educational institutions (HOCHN), which has just been funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Eleven German higher educational institutions work together in the fields of sustainability reporting, governance, teaching, research, and operation. The aim is to encourage sustainable development at higher educational institutions and establish a national network. The project will run for two years.
