Fourth joint call of the European Biodiversity Partnership Biodiversa+ funds transnational research projects on biodiversity and transformative change
The new joint call of the European Biodiversity Partnership - Biodiversa+ supports research and innovation projects on transformative change for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
On 10 September 2024, the European Biodiversity Partnership Biodiversa+ published its fourth joint call on "Biodiversity and Transformative Change". The call aims to support inter- and transdisciplinary and/or cross-sectoral transnational research and innovation projects that focus on identifying, analysing and understanding transformation processes to halt and reverse biodiversity loss, protect ecosystems and secure the associated benefits for people.
The joint call covers all realms, i.e. terrestrial, marine, coastal and freshwater ecosystems, in Europe and beyond. Project proposals are expected to demonstrate academic excellence with the potential for societal and policy impact in relation to biodiversity and aim to link science, society, policy and practice for transformative change.
